Seattle, WA, November 11th, 2019 – Refactr, creators of the radically simple DevSecOps Platform, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Refactr as a finalist in the 2019 CRN Tech Innovator Awards. These annual awards honor innovative hardware, software, and services. CRN editors evaluated hundreds of products, across 34 technology categories using criteria, including technological advancements, uniqueness of features, and potential to help solution providers solve common IT challenges.
The Refactr Platform took top honors in the IT/Application Automation category. The Refactr Platform can be used by internal IT, TSP, and MSSP and solution provider teams to centralize, standardize, and modernize their delivery practices through IT as Code using the latest in infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and security automation tools. The collaborative, visually-focused DevSecOps platform includes a solution catalog that enables vendors and IT teams to build their own cloud and security automation content and publish it out for use, leveraging existing DevSecOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, and many others. “CRN’s Tech Innovator Awards honor technology vendors who work tirelessly to craft ground-breaking solutions for end users, matching the speed of the channel’s evolution,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “The winners in this year’s award categories deserve congratulations for their success in driving IT innovation forward for solution providers and their customers.”
“We are honored to be named a finalist in CRN’s 2019 Tech Innovator Awards in the IT/Application Automation category. The Refactr team has worked hard to bring to market the first DevSecOps platform for MSP and MSSPs to use content built by solution providers leveraging existing DevOps and security automation tools like Ansible and Terraform. We are proud to continue to be innovators in the IT and security automation space,” said Michael Fraser, Co-Founder and CEO of Refactr.
The Tech Innovator Awards will be featured in the December issue of CRN and can be viewed online at crn.com/techinnovators.

Mac is the youngest member of the Refactr team, though he does not lack experience with startups, as his age might suggest. He was exposed to several tech startups early in his early youth and, later in high-school, worked in startups while being mentored by founders. After graduation, Mac decided to focus his passion for media production with Refactr's marketing team. A startup had felt like the most compelling and fulfilling path because of the enthusiasm and respect Mac felt for the mentors of his youth.
