WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION DOES REFACTR COLLECT?
- Personal Identifiable Information. Refactr collects information you voluntarily provide when you register, access and use Services (“PII”). PII includes your name; photo; email address; credit card information, and other information that may be used to personally identify you. PII will be used in connection with your registration and may be used to contact you regarding your use of our Services. It is important for you to maintain the confidentiality of your account information (i.e. log-in and password), to ensure others do not gain unauthorized access to your PII and/or your account.
- Non-Personal Identifiable Information. Refactr uses industry standard technologies to collect this information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that helps improve your experience. Refactr may also collect information using web beacons (also known as “tracking pixels”). Web beacons are electronic images that may be used with Services or emails and help deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon. i. ensuring Services are relevant to your needs and to making Services easier for you to use;

iii. alerting you of new Services and promotions that may be offered by Refactr or through a designated select partners; and
iv. delivering Services, including newsletters and email notifications, confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages that you may request.
WHEN DOES REFACTR SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?
i. Refactr may share PII and other information provided through your usage of Services with third party service providers (such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Cloud) solely to help with providing Services. When you interact with third party websites, you are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the applicable third party websites.
iii. in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets or any other situation involving the transfer of some or all of our business assets, Refactr may disclose PII and other information to those involved in the negotiation or transfer.
Refactr takes reasonable steps to maintain appropriate physical, technical and administrative security to help prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of your PII. While Refactr takes reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal information, no system or transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be one-hundred percent (100%) secure.
